Victorian Bowl Production Table & Fountain

This table is on a cast Kellar base. The effect is that an empty table covered with a drape and when uncovered a large bowl of water sits on top. This table has the spring elevator with lock on it. The drape is velvet with the original metal fringe. Circa 1900s.

Usually the effect would be done producing a large glass bowl. However, included with this lot is a fountain bowl. When the bowl is uncovered, a fountain of many streams of water encircles the bowl while lights shine up from inside making a spectacular display. I fired this up and the water sprays about 10" - 12" high and lands back in the bowl, it was quite impressive. The bowl is circa 1950s.


Condition: Good, the Kellar base has some rusting but would polish up nicely, the table itself shows it's age, but is still great. The bowl with it's built in pump, lights and fountain is in working order. However, I would suggest replacing the cord with a grounded one prior to using.
